After over a decade establishing in our ancient clay slopes, our Syrah is now producing wines with both structure and grace on a consistent basis. Syrah is a variety renown for its floppy growth habit and this along with other attributes means we must tend to it meticulously in the vineyard throughout the season to ensure the fruit is at optimum ripeness and condition come harvest time.
Deep crimson red colour with scarlet hues. Lifted red fruits and cracked pepper in the glass, with time iodine and forest floor characters emerge. To the taste- sweet red fruits, engaging acidity and moderate astringency all combine in harmony to create a wine that would pair with a wide variety flavorsome fair.
